Physiotherapy Follow-Up Appointments

Standard Physiotherapy Follow-Up (60 minutes)

Both assessment and follow-up appointments at our Saskatoon facility are typically one hour long. It is very important to us that you do not feel like your physiotherapy appointments are rushed. You can expect a relaxed pace for your follow-up appointments, including adequate time to hear any updates you have for us, answer any questions you have and cover everything that we need to!

After this your physiotherapist will reassess you and compare to previous appointments to determine how your body is adapting to your physiotherapy program. This reassessment then informs the next and best course of action for you.

Your physiotherapist will discuss the recommended path forward with you, perform any recommended interventions, and practice any new exercises they recommend. As always, you can also expect your physiotherapist to walk you through exactly what each new exercise does and how it will help bring you closer to your goals.

Shorter Physiotherapy Follow-Ups (30 minutes)

At Longevity Physical Therapy, the standard length for follow-up appointments is 60 minutes. The reason for this is that in our experience we have found that 60-minute appointments allow us to meet our client’s needs while offering them the best experience possible!

That said, every client and circumstance is different. That means there are also times when clients need and benefit from shorter physiotherapy appointments! We also understand that sometimes clients need to get in on short notice. These thirty-minute appointments allow us to fit our existing clients in on short notice when needed. Lastly, we know that sometimes you may not have time for a full sixty-minute appointment. As such, we offer the option of thirty-minute physiotherapy appointments to ensure that we can meet these needs.

If you need to book a thirty-minute follow-up, simply contact us and we will be happy to help you!
